Beksinski's works will find their own permanent exhibition in Kraków. Directors of the Nowa Huta Culture Centre, located in Aleja Jana Pawła II 232, decided to present the artist's works, which are a part of Anna i Pior Dmochowski's private collection. The permanent exhibition will be held in a building of Galeria Zdzisława Beksińskiego. The gallery will be officially opened in 8-9 October 2016.
Zdzisław Beskiński is this kind of the Polish modern painters who is recognized not only in Poland but also in Europe. His style is characterized by dystopian surrealism, 'utopian realim', formalism. His works are controversial. They stir up ambivalent and intriguing emotions. from delight to anxiety. Beksinski's works of art are very detailed. The artist presents deformed persons, abandoned buildings, shapes and figures which inspire horror, which are both fascinating and terrifying.
Paintings, drawings and photogriaphs – in total number of 250 – will be available to visitors in October, in NCK (Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury).
