Home > Skiing in Poland

Are you a fan of skiing? Do you enjoy winter sports? Or maybe you are looking for an opportunity to learn how to ski while enjoying beautiful mountain landscapes? Skiing in Poland offers a lot of choices for anyone interested in the above.

In the south of the country, we have a few mountain ranges, the most famous f which are the Tatra Mountains. Many towns in the Tatras provide ski lifts, including very modern chair lifts. These are adjusted to many skill levels, from complete beginners through intermediate, up to the advanced slopes for those who enjoy bigger speed and a more exhilarating riding experience. You can easily find accommodation in resorts such as Bialka Tatrzanska, Zakopane or Krynica. For the more demanding tourists there are five-star hotels, especially in Zakopane, while budget travellers will benefit from the huge availability of rooms for rent, many of them in houses of characteristic architecture, featuring wooden elements and tall, sloping roofs. Living there will also be an excellent occasion to enjoy the delicious local cuisine. If you don’t have your own skiing equipment, nearly every ski lift or ski lift complex in Poland has at least one rental point in its close area. Also, if you are not yet sure of your skiing abilities, or if you have just started your adventure with winter sports, you can arrange a ski instructor who will take care of improving your skills. In Poland, your skiing holiday will be safe, exciting and definitely worth repeating.
