Krakow World War 2
Krakow was one of the first big cities in Poland taken by the Germans in September 1939. We recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in history, especially history of World War 2. You will find out that during those hard times, Krakow's Main Square changed its name to Adolf Hitler's Platz and Wawel Hill became a seat of General Governor. You will visit area of former concentration camp in Plaszow, Szeroka Street in Kazimierz Jewish District, former area of the Krakow's Ghetto and remaining parts of ghetto walls. You will hear a story of Pharmacy Under Sign of Eagle and visit famous Schindler's Factory Museum.
