Public bus and tram tickets in Krakow (Jan 11, 2012)

You can buy your ticket in most of the small newsagents and kiosks in the centre and also in further districts. You can also buy them in some of the bus/tram stops in automatic machines and even inside the new types of buses and trams equipped with coin-in-slot machines.

There are 2 price zones in Krakow: central and central + suburban:

Central zone:

Single normal ticket – 2,80 PLN

Single student ticket – 1,40 PLN

One hour normal ticket – 3,60 PLN

One hour student ticket – 1,80 PLN

Day normal ticket – 12 PLN

Day student ticket – 6 PLN

One week normal ticket – 38 PLN

One week student ticket – 19 PLN

Central +Suburban zone:

Single normal ticket – 3,20 PLN

Single student ticket – 1,60 PLN

One hour normal ticket – 3,60 PLN

One hour student ticket – 1,80 PLN

Day normal ticket – 16 PLN

Day student ticket – 8 PLN

One week normal ticket – 52 PLN

One week student ticket – 26 PLN
