Arriving to Krakow by train - railway station in Krakow

Home > Practical Tips > Arriving > Arriving to Krakow by train

Polish rail network is pretty well developed and Krakow is its important point. There are a couple of stations in Krakow: Krakow-Business Park (Zabierzow), Lobzow, Plaszow and Krakow Glowny (Main Station) – the only one which actually matters, especially for tourists visiting the city.

Krakow Glowny has lots of connections with all major directions and cities in Poland, as well as some international connections with for example: Prague, Vienna, Burgas and others. Older building of Krakow Glowny station is well visible and located in the very centre of Krakow – less than 10 min on foot from Main Market, right in front of Andels Hotel and Galeria Krakowska shopping mall. There is an underground passage connecting entrances to platforms with this shopping centre.
It is pretty hard to find information on the internet concerning train schedule in Poland, so if you need any help you can simply write to us. Sometimes travelling by train makes sense, but in some directions or in case of groups it is better to choose transportation by car/mini-van, bus and we can also help you out with those services. So if you are looking for best options, please let us know and will be glad to give you some advise.
