The Dragon’s Den is the most famous cave in Poland. It gained its popularity due to the legend of the Wawel Dragon, who was supposed to live there and eat sheep, cattle and virgins.

It is located in the western slope of Wawel Hill. Total length of the underground is 270 m and the maximum height is 10 m. The tourist route, 81-metres long cave, includes the descent through the old Austrian well and three rock chambers. Open: 1 May-31 October, daily 10am-5pm.
